Beginning of April, we had the pleasure of welcoming a group of curious and motivated girls as part of Girls’ Day. This special day gives young female students the opportunity to explore technical professions – and our participants dove in with great enthusiasm and curiosity.
During an exciting tour of our production facility, they got exclusive insights into the world of air-powered weapons and also learned more about our diverse training and apprenticeship opportunities. It was amazing to see their interest and eagerness to learn.
Thank you so much for visiting us – we’re already looking forward to the next Girls’ Day!
We are proud to announce that three of our trainees have recently completed their 3.5-year apprenticeship with great success, marking a significant milestone in their professional careers.
Our training instructor, Jürgen Eyring, officially presented the graduates with their certificates. Additionally, the management team, represented by Thilo Schallenkammer as well as Hans-Hermann and Felix Weihrauch, congratulated the newly qualified professionals on their achievement and presented each of them with a special gift.
We wish them continued success and enjoyment in their new roles within our departments.
Early May we had a fantastic Girls Day at our place. During the Girls’ Day, girls have the opportunity to get a glimpse into technical professions.
The young participants got an exclusive insight into the manufacturing of air rifles and also learned about our training opportunities. It was great to see the enthusiasm and interest – heartfelt thanks for the visit!

Since the beginning of May, Felix Weihrauch has joined the current management team of Weihrauch & Weihrauch Sport, consisting of Hans-Hermann Weihrauch and Thilo Schallenkammer. “I am very pleased that my son has decided to join our company and that our company is thus continued by what is then the 5th generation!”, says Hans-Hermann Weihrauch.
The foundations for the well-established company were laid more than a century ago, in 1899 to be precise, in Zella-Mehlis. “I am proud to carry on the tradition and to face the challenges as the next generation in the family business.” , explains Felix Weihrauch. Since its founding, the company has continued to develop and is now one of the world’s leading manufacturers of air guns. As a supplier of air pistols, air rifles, as well as hunting rifles, the company has a broad portfolio of products of the highest quality for leisure, sport and hunting needs.
